sigilscape: cast and characters ✨
Sigilscape takes place in the underwater city of Amphiri which, like each of the ocean's cities, is protected by a Barrier: a dome that may or may not be some kind of living organism with a will of its own. Along the whole trainline, people randomly awaken as Sigils—Sigils are blamed for humankind no longer being able to live on the surface, as upon awakening they tend to blow up. Unless they have a trust-based bond with someone so the font of inexplicable power coursing into them has somewhere else to go. By all accounts it makes perfect sense actually. 🎶
Some Sigils will tell you that Sigils are intrinsically linked to the Barrier, and without them, no one could survive. Other Sigils will tell you life sucks.
